Finally, the much anticipated game is here. FAU-G (Fearless and United Guards) is a made in India action game launched today on the occasion of Republic Day of India. The game was announced soon after the ban of PUBG in India.
Initially, the game was scheduled to be launched by the end of October 2020, but was delayed by a couple of months due to many reasons. The teaser of the game was launched in October 2020, followed by pre-registrations for in November 2020 on the Google Play Store.
It is an online multiplayer game that has been developed by a Bengaluru based company – nCore games and showcases the life of Indian soldiers serving the nation at the borders.
What is DIFFERENT in FAU-G?
The game will have storylines inspired by real-life scenarios. The 1st episode of the game will be based on the Galwan Valley Clash in Ladakh. FAU-G is likely to incorporate several of India’s preceding historic border clashes into subsequent episode storylines like the India-Pakistan war of 1971,the Kargil incident, and the surgical strikes of 2016 etc.
Moreover, 20 percent of the game’s revenue will be donated to the “Bharat ke veer” Trust . Each in-app purchase by players will help in contributing to the foundation.
FAU-G will be completely free-to-play, but with in-game purchases for users to customise their player avatars.
The players can purchase official FAU-G merchandise including T-shirts, hoodies etc. from within the app itself.
How to download FAU-G ?
As of now the game is only available on Android only, but it will be listed iOS later.
- To download the game, go to Google Play Store on Android / App Store on iOS (once it is made available).
- Search the game name, tap on the download button to start downloading.
- Otherwise, you can also go for sideloading the APK on Android ( we would suggest that you go through the official listing, as it is a free-to-play game. )

FAU-G compatible phones
The game is compatible with any device running on Android 8.0 Oreo or higher. That means it can be played on any mobile phone / tablet powered by Android 8, 9, 10, and 11. Thus, making the list of FAUG supported phones pretty extensive. Currently FAUG is not live for iOS, but will be launched soon.
FAU-G game modes
For now, FAUG seems to have a campaign mode only. The first episode is about Galwan Valley clash that took place last year where the Indian Army had a face-off with the Chinese troops .
This means it will be a single-player game for now. The online multiplayer & battle royale game modes will be added later via an update.
Future plans of FAU-G
Based on the response and feedback from consumers, game will be developed further. New features will be added with updates.*
If there is good response to the standard version of FAU-G and the demand for Lite version of the game increases, company will consider launching FAU-G Lite.*
