Nalin Prabhat IPS J&K DGP
As part of the recent administrative shuffle, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) announced the appointment of IPS Officer Nalin Prabhat as Director General (DGP) of the Jammu & Kashmir Police.
For this, the central government approved his inter-cadre deputation from the Andhra Pradesh cadre to the Union Territories cadre (AGMUT) for an initial period of 3 years.
He will assume his role on 30 September 2024 when the tenure of the current DGP of J&K Police RR Swain will end.
