Baba Siddique death
On 12 October, 2024, Baba Siddique, Zeeshan Siddique’s father was shot dead. The attack occurred outside his Zeeshan’s office in the Nirmal Nagar area, where he was ambushed by three unidentified assailants who fired multiple rounds at him. He was taken to the Lilavati hospital in critical condition, where he was declared dead shortly after arrival.
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder, who identified themselves as members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. One suspect is on the run.

Zeeshan completed his schooling at St. Mary’s School in Mumbai. He took a graduation course at HR College of Commerce and Economics. Later, he moved to the UK to obtain a Master’s degree in Global Management & Public Leadership from Regent’s University London.In 2019, he contested the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections and started his political career. He won the Vandre East seat, marking his entry into formal politics as one of the youngest MLAs in Maharashtra.
In August 2021, he was appointed President of the Mumbai Youth Congress. In this capacity, he has focused on initiatives aimed at addressing youth issues such as education, employment, and skill development.
