Mukesh Rajput Early Life & Career
After completing his graduation, he continued with his agricultural ventures. Rajput entered politics by joining BJP. He was known to be close associate of former CM Kalyan Singh, and left BJP when we walked out in 2009. Rajput was then made Vice-President of Jan Kranti Party. He gained momentum when he became the Chairperson of the Zilla Panchayat in Farrukhabad. He served two terms: 2000-05 to 2006-12.
In 2014, Mukesh contested Loksabha elections and won against Samajwadi Party candidate Rameshwar Singh Yadav. He was re-elected in 2019, continuing to represent Farrukhabad in the Lok Sabha. As an MP, he has been involved in various committees, including those related to food processing and agriculture. He is also invested in social welfare programs and development initiatives.
He’s actively involved with the Mata Chandawati Shiksha Sewa Samiti, where he has contributed to educational initiatives and skill development programs for underprivileged youth.

- Injuries sustained in scuffle at Parliament: On December 19, 2024, protests erupted at Parliament by opposition MPs due to remarks made by Home Minister Amit Shah regarding B.R. Ambedkar. MPs from both sides accused each other of using force leading to scuffle at the gate of Parliament. Mukesh Rajput and fellow BJP MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi were injured during the scuffle. Reports indicate that Rajput suffered head injuries and high blood pressure, while Sarangi sustained a deep cut on his head and significant blood loss. Both MPs were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for treatment. PM Modi called upon the injured MPs to check upon them. His followers have been praying for his fast recovery.
