From a young age, he was interested in acting, often encouraged by his family and teachers who affectionately referred to him as “Hero” during his childhood. His first stage performance was at the age of 9, where he played Jatayu from the Ramayana. After completing his schooling, he went to Mumbai to find work. After struggling for 4-5 months, he moved back to Delhi and started pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media from Amity University, Noida.
Before entering acting, Kohli worked as a Radio Jockey at Radio Mirchi in Delhi from May to July 2011. He got his debut show when he got selected in a talent-hunt competition during his college days. His first show was a TV series Humse Hai Liife, where he played the role of Raghav Oberoi, which aired on Channel V from September 2011 to June 2012.
