This achievement solidified his commitment to the arts over academia. By 1972, he achieved a great reputation as a theatre artist with the play “Chak Bhanga Madhu”.

His notable works include “Sajano Bagan,” “Narak Guljar,” “Aswathama,” and “Galpo Hekim Saheb.” He founded the theatre group Sundaram and later formed Ritayan but returned to Sundaram.
